Pinehill was established in the late 1950's and has not seen anyone buried in it since a year or two after the plague started. Many people now have an aversion to dead bodies as they may have the plague, now that stigma has stuck to cemeteries. Even though the people have been dead for a long time people believe they can still catch the plague. People only travel in or through cemeteries if they need to. |
